Veneer Design

Veneer thickness approx. 0.6 mm. Provide a chamfer at the gingival margin. Eliminate stress area of incisal edge by rounding tip.

Anterior and Posterior Crowns

In the preparation of Anterior and Posterior teeth even reduction of the anatomic form must occur. Provide enough room for adequate strength. Avoid sharp internal edges and angles. Avoid undercuts. Maintain shoulder preparation with butt joint margins.

Onlays

An Onlay Preparation is indicated when the preparation margin is less than 0.5 mm away from the cusp tip or when the enamel is severely undermined. Cusp reduction of 2.0 mm is recommended.

Inlays

Fissure depth at isthmus should be 1.5 mm. Width of the isthmus should be 1.5 mm.
